Hello, everyone!
Rachel here, commandeering Trav's blog day to ask you folks for a little help. As you might have heard from a few previous posts NO GOOD DRAGON GOES UNPUNISHED is coming out in just a few weeks (preorder it here!). I actually just sent the final version of the text to the proofreader, so that means it's time to start doing fun bonus book launch stuff! Yay!
One of the projects I have in mind is going to be (hopefully) really cool, but to make it even cooler, I wanted to ask for your input. Without letting the dragon out of the bag too much, I'm going to be doing an...interview of sorts with everyone's favorite terrible mother, Bethesda the Heartstriker! So if you ever had a question you wanted to hear Bethesda answer about her children, her clan, dragons, or her life in general, please ask it in the comments below.
I'll be picking the best ones (or at least the ones I can answer without horribly spoiling the series) for her to answer in a special Heartstrikers short story that will come out before the release of book 3. YES! EARLY HEARTSTRIKERS! WOO!
This story will be free and made specially for you guys, my awesome fans! So if there's a question you desperately want to see Bethesda answer that I haven't addressed in the books, ask it below, and let's have some fun!

Brohomir's name seems to be unique, in that all of your other children have common American names. Did all of B clutch get unique names, or did you know Brohomir was special when he hatched?
ReplyDeleteHow did you know your father's fangs could become weapons??? Did you find out accidentally, or did you enchant his ordinary fangs to become extraordinary swords?
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get your fashion sense from? Also, do dragons shop for themselves or send humans to do it?
ReplyDeleteDo dragons go anywhere when they're in dragon form? Or do they have to be in dragon form?

ReplyDeleteDid your father and mother have many clutches and if so did they use the same naming scheme as you? In other words, were you from the second clutch or something else all together? Are any of your siblings still around?
ReplyDeleteWho is(are) the father(s) of your clutches? I may have missed this information, because I read too fast when I get caught up in a story even, as in this case, the second time around.
ReplyDeleteAfter a mating flight is it customary to:
Kill or eat the lucky fellow?
Banish him?
Pay him off in treasure?
Do some dragon queens have consorts that hang around?
Is each mating contract unique where it spells out the particulars? Or ruled by tradition?
How will it benefit Ian (i.e. The Heartstrikers) if Svena has a clutch? And who will they belong to? the Heartstrikers or the Three Sisters?
Oh glorious Bethesda, we mere mortals are unworthy of your condescension.

How long does it take a clutch to hatch?
How do you hold multiple phone conversations at the same time? Do you mute the children you're not talking to because you already know what they'll say? Do you listen to all of them talk at once?
What is your most prized piece of treasure? How did you obtain it?
Your greatest victory was obviously when you defeated your father, but you've defeated many other dragons. Who are you proudest of defeating? How did you win?
Bethesda, what qualities are you attracted to in a mate? Has love ever played a part in your choice?

are you going to have a new Clutch soon? If so, what type of dragon? A Asian Dragon, European, or a Feathered Serpent? Would you feel safe with a new clutch with Spirits taking back the world? Would you think one may be special? What would the K names be? Do we ever meet and Ds? Or did you eat all the Ds?
So we know about your father the Quetzalcoatl, but what about your mother? Who is she and what can you tell us about her? Also who do you take after more your father or your mother?
